’Henry the Navigator’ is a narrowboat, 58’ long and 6'10" wide. The large rear deck, with room for the whole crew, allows everyone to be together for friendly cruising, or simply socialising when moored up. There is full headroom throughout the boat and the beds are fitted
Summary of facilities on board :
· Flexible 6 berth accommodation
· 240v electrical supply on board for hair dryer (supplied) and your own hair straighteners
· 1 x permanent double bed ( 6' 3" x 4') in the master cabin
· A choice of 2 x single beds or a second double in the aft cabin
· A further convertible double in the saloon
· Diesel fired central heating with radiators
· Two flush macerator toilets in separate compartments
· Duvets, pillows, sheets and towels all provided
· Colour television, DVD player and a radio/CD player
· Electric fridge with freezer compartment
· Four-ring gas cooker, oven and grill
· Full range of life jackets (including pets) if required
with inner sprung mattresses for your comfort. A shower and two flushing toilets are provided on ’Henry’ and for privacy each cabin is separated by a door. The boat is fully centrally heated with a diesel fired boiler and hot water radiators. There is a full inventory of freshly laundered bed linen including duvets and pillows, together with a range of towels for each member of the crew. Tableware, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan, roasting pan and other kitchen utensils are all provided.
‘Henry the Navigator’ is very easy to steer with simple controls, and a diesel fuel tank large enough to cruise for two or three weeks
Cot sides for the beds may be requested in advance.
